Black History Month at the Chapel

2 Pearson Square, Fitzrovia
28 October 13:00 - 13:30

Black History month in the UK is a celebration of the black British community and its history. A mural on Tottenham Street in Fitzrovia commemorates, amongst others, the lives of historical figures connected to the area who played significant roles in the abolitionist and anti-apartheid movements. One of these people is Olaudah Equiano, who wrote his autobiography while living in the area later known as Fitzrovia. Join us to explore his work and legacy.
