Between 19 and 23 June, FitzFest, the annual festival of arts and culture centred on Fitzrovia, will be holding events throughout the area, with many taking place in the chapel. We are again pleased to host concerts, yoga, poetry readings and Wireless Contemplation sessions. Some of these are free, others low cost. Come along to the wonderful surroundings of the historic Fitzrovia Chapel as annual cultural festival FitzFest presents a Chamber Music Concert. The concert will feature the JS Bach Quintet. There will be music by JC Bach, Mozart and other Fitzrovian composers. It will be performed on historical instruments made in Fitzrovia by the festival musicians, with flautist Neil McLaren. FitzFest 2019 presents The Fitzrovian Flute at the Fitzrovia Chapel. It is a late night solo concert. Neil Mclaren plays William Alwyn and Gordon Jacob. He performs on an original 1890s Rudal Carte flute. These instruments were made on Berners Street, Fitzrovia. Tickets are £10 on the door or you can buy via Eventbrite. The festival keeps their ticket prices as low as possible so they can be accessible and open to all.
