How can we creatively work with our birthing and mothering stories? with Hannah Ballou from Mothers Who Make and Caroline Walker.

An artist-led exploration facilitated by Dr. Hannah Ballou, welcoming all mother artists and their little ones. This free workshop draws inspiration from Caroline Walker’s ‘Birth Reflections’, and Ballou’s own experience of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care, exploring how these experiences can inform your own creative practice. This workshop is delivered in partnership with Mothers Who Make; a growing international movement for women and non binary people who care about creating, and create while caring.

Dr. Hannah Ballou is a comedian, performance artist, researcher, writer, and lecturer. Her work is feminist, sometimes autobiographical, and chal- lenges configurations of the comic body by asking who is funny, when, how, why, and why not? She is known to work with live animals and sleeping children. She once found out she was pregnant live on stage.

Tickets are free but booking via Eventbrite is essential.
